Lynn Maverick Denzer
Lynn Maverick Denzer is a San Antonio and Austin native, involved in art, teaching, writing and
the creative process. She enjoys expressing herself in word, and art, as shown in her newly published.

Lynn studied art at University of Texas in Austin and the College of Marin, and received a secondary
teaching degree at the University of Texas in San Antonio in English. Her experience teaching secondary
reading and art afforded her with many experiences in producing and observing creative expression.
Upon retiring from public education, Lynn has pursued her own art and has exhibited at several
galleries, including ; High Wire Art Gallery, Carver Cultural Center, The Bijou Theater, ,Galleria II at La
Villita Historic Arts Village, and The Jingu House at the Japanese Tea Gardens. She is currently showing
her work at The Starving Artist Gallery at La Villita.
Lynn has enjoyed teaching small classes in watercolor and other mediums at Inspire Fine Art Center for
six yearsand supports students to show their art in our seasonal student shows. She is also involved in
creative activities at Celebration Circle and San Antonio Art League. She working on paintings for a
children’s book she has written about an Iguana from Mexico. Lynn has been busy planning a workshop
to offer to enthused watercolor students and a tour for the 2018 Summer in Ajijic, Mexico.
